Coconut Sap Sugar contains approximately 75 percent of sucrose, whereas normal table sugar is complete sucrose. Coconut sugar is unrefined.
Coconut sugar contains sodium, magnesium and potassium that are essential for maintaining water content in body and muscle functions. It has glycemic index(GI) of 35 which is closer to the GI of sugar in fruits.
