Ghee: Made by heating butter to separate the milk solids and liquids from the fat. Hence named as Clarified butter. Ghee has an edge over butter as it is spoil proof during warm weather and hence, refrigeration is unnecessary. Having said that, when stored at cold temperatures can turn into solid.

Good for heart: Consuming ghee may increase good cholesterol(HDL) and decrease the deposition of fats in the arteries.
In comparison with soyabean oil, ghee may reduce the risk of breast cancer. Ghee is a better choice over butter for people with dairy allergies.
